What's Up This Week

We’re having a Superbowl Party!

The Superbowl is ONE WEEK AWAY and our favorite team is playing. Since we’re hunkered down with the kids that day, I’m going a little “extra” to show them that some Sundays are actually a bit more… Super. With a kid-friendly Superbowl Party!

While we can’t actually invite you all to watch the big game with us here at Charlotte House, we’re sharing all the good stuff we’re making and setting up to celebrate our favorite team, so you can amp up the enjoyment at your house, too  🦅

Since some of the kids have an early bedtime and are too little to really watch the game, I came up with a few fun things for them all to do together during the day to get in the Superbowl mood. We’ll decorate and color, and get everyone’s name on the Football Pool Board for the chance to win a fun prize (even if they’re asleep during the game!). We’re shooting for a kid-friendly Superbowl Party even the adults will love

I’m also going to make another round of the Carrot Cake Muffins that have brought us good luck during the playoffs, which may or may not have to do with the amazing candy football sprinkles we’ve been using.

And just for the adults, I’ve been working on a special Green Bloody Mary/Maria recipe that should be ready to share soon. Make sure you’re following our social media so you don’t miss it!

Whether you know the Eagles fight song by heart or are in your Just-Here-For-The-Commercials Era, it’s the perfect excuse to be a little extra and make next Sunday fun for fun’s sake.

Because who doesn’t need a little more fun these days?

🦅

Delicious, contains a veggie, and lucky to boot

The Trophy Case

The Venue

I’m working on convining Jim to hook the projector back up so we can set up the big screen. We set up our new Room & Board living room furniture to be able to be rearranged for just this type of situation!

A screen so big we can watch the game from the kitchen!
Bringing back our old projector from before the living room makeover
Our Room & Board furniture setup was made to be rearranged
Might as well be stadium seating, but way more comfortable

Are you watching the big game next week?

Who are you rooting for?
